Mark Jacob Turner

Mark Jacob Turner, 46, raised in Mill Run passed away on April 28, 2023 after a yearlong long battle with cancer.

Born January 21, 1977, he was the son of Anne Marie (Eline) Turner and the late Fred Franklin Turner. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Robert Eline, Sr. 

Mark was a family man, he enjoyed time with his children and attending family get togethers. He loved spending his time outdoors camping, hunting and fishing. Mark was a Supervisor at Pilgrims Pride, where he had worked since he was eighteen years of age. 

Along with his mother Anne, Mark is also survived by his children, Erica Turner and Cody Turner; a bonus daughter Jaden Elkins; and his friend and mother of his children, Amber Dolly. Mark is survived by his sisters, Stacy Brumage and husband Chris, Beth McDowell and husband Ken; nephew, Blaine Brumage; and nieces, Audrey Brumage, Alexis McDowell and Gabby McDowell. Mark is survived by many extended family members and friends. 

Friends are welcome to gather and share memories of Mark at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service honoring Mark will take place at 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Schwab Family Cancer Center.
