Marilyn Mae Martin, 81, of Poplar St, Westernport, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.
Born October 6, 1933 in Iron Mountain, MI, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Pearl (Vines) Martin. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Malcolm Dyer, and a daughter, Diane Darlene Dyer.
Mrs. Martin was a homemaker.
She leaves behind her husband, Walter Robert Martin, daughters, Judyann Porier and husband Jeff of Iron Mountain, MI, Pam Tuttle and husband Daniel of Westernport, sons, Steven Dyer and wife Cheryl of Westernport, Scott Dyer and wife Brenda of Westernport, a special son, Roy Droll and wife Tina of Barton, a sister, Judy Swaddell and husband Jack of Medina, OH, eight grandchildren, Darrick Tuttle, Stevie Dyer, Adam Dyer, Andrea Gentry, Bobby Porier, Annie Porier, Krissy Porier, and Andrew Porier, five great grandchildren, Anastaja Grazyk, Corbin Bernard, Tre Dyer, Gabriella Valentine and Vincent Dyer. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Keith Dyer of Iron Mountain, MI, a sister-in-law, Eunice Roberts of Garden City, NJ.
At Mrs. Martin’s request, her body was cremated.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Saturday, November 15th from 4 to 6 PM. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 PM on Saturday, with Pastor Sandy Cowan officiating.
