Mamie Lambert

Mamie Elizabeth Lambert, 82, of Stoney Run Road, Westernport, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Becky in Keyser, WV.

Born May 28, 1934 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Daisy (Miller) Martin.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, David H. Lambert, a sister, Mary MacDonald, and two brothers, Emory Martin and Frederick Martin. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.

Mrs. Lambert was a homemaker.  She enjoyed reading and sewing.  She was a member of Stoney Run Baptist Church, Westernport.

She leaves behind three sons, Ronnie Lambert and wife Barbara of Westernport, Dale Lambert and wife Sheila of Frostburg, Marty Lambert and wife Jewel of Westernport, two daughters, Becky Shugars and husband Roger of Keyser, WV and Linda Braithwaite and husband Robert of Westernport.  She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

There will be no visitation.

A funeral service will be conducted at the Stoney Run Baptist Church, Westernport, on Sunday, August 21st at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Gary Morris officiating.

Interment will be in Miller Cemetery, Stoney Run.
