Luigi Dominick Camplesi, 85, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away November 16, 2018. He was born in Luke, MD on February 28, 1933, son of the late Giacomo and Louise (Chucci) Camplesi.  He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Samuel Amoruso.

Luigi graduated from Bruce High School. He owned his own Barbershop and worked as a Barber. He also served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Luigi was a member of the American Legion.

Luigi is survived by his son, Giacomo Camplesi, daughter-in-law Lisa Bradley and his stepdaughter Rose Marie Howell, his grandchildren, Giacomo Camplesi Jr. and Jared D. Camplesi, his great grandchildren, Rhett Andrew Scofield, Giacomo William Camplesi, Dominick Luigi Camplesi and Jaelynn Camplesi. He is also survived by his siblings, Elvira Amoruso, Armando “Monk” Camplesi and wife Vicky, Elgerina Kazlo and husband Joe, and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am, Monday November 26, 2018 at Divine Mercy Parish St. Peters Catholic Church, Westernport, MD, with Monsignor Edward Hendricks as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Westernport, with military honors accorded at graveside.

Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, is entrusted with local arrangements.
