Lowell Francis Taylor 78, of Keyser WV passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022.

Lowell was born in 1944 to the late John and Cona (Vandella) Taylor of Westernport, MD.  He retired from Westvaco Paper in Luke, MD and served his country in the Army National Guard.

Lowell married Eunice Katherine Harvey in May of 1970 and has shared their love and bond for the past 51 years.

Lowell is survived by his wife Eunice (Letty); children, Lowell F. Taylor Jr (LaDonna) of Winchester, VA, Rick Bruce (Genora(late)) of Columbus OH, Patricia Bess (Kevin) of Kearneysville, WV and Troy Bruce (Elaine) of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Michael Carter-Taylor, Lauren Taylor, Alexys Taylor, Keara Bruce, Rick Bruce (late), Marcus Bruce, Michael Caminiti, Brenton Watkins, Ryan Morris, Troy Bruce Jr., Taylor Bruce, Myles Bruce; seven great-grandchildren; two nephews; and one niece.

Lowell was preceded in death by his father, John J. Taylor, mother, Cona Vandella Taylor, and brother, Lionel Taylor.

Lowell enjoyed the game of golf immensely and his newly found passion for woodworking.  He loved the outdoors and tinkering on anything he could.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sharing laughs and cutting up.  He loved life in every way, and it showed through his unwavering positive outlook on life.  He always put the wants and needs of others first and would often say “my time will come later”.  Lowell showed the deepest self-control and positive candor as nothing would upset him or bring him out of character.  He was a man amongst men and always the coolest guy in the room.
