Lois Charlene Rounds, 91, of Takoma Drive, Barton, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing.

Born March 19, 1925 in Barton, she was the daughter of the late James and Agnes (Warnick) Kirk.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Fats” Rounds, a great grandson, Kaiden Alexander Rounds, a daughter, Virginia Lee Buckholtz, and all of her siblings.

Mrs. Rounds was a homemaker and a faithful member of Barton Presbyterian Church.

She leaves behind a son, Wayne Rounds and wife Marilyn of Barton, a daughter, Brenda Sue Boggs of Waldorf, five grandchildren, John Edward Buckholtz IV and wife Amanda, Kevin Rounds and wife Mary Kay, Korey Rounds and wife Melissa, Brent Boggs, and Sheila Welch and husband Josh.  She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Dalton Minnigh, Brycen Rounds, Brenden Rounds, Mason Rounds, Tristen Rounds, Kyleigh Welch, Cameron Buckholtz and Drake Welch.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Monday, March 20th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the Barton Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, March 21st at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating.

Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Barton Presbyterian Church.
