Lisa Jo Guy

Lisa Jo (Dawson) Guy, 73, of Westernport passed away on March 12, 2026.

Born September 1, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Gloria and Junior Dawson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dana Guy.

Lisa was a 1970 graduate of Bruce High School, and attended Allegany College of Maryland. She was a Teacher's Aide at Westernport Elementary School for many years, and a member of St. Peter's Church in Westernport Md.

Lisa is survived by her daughters, Gina Spriggs, Julie Francis and Christina Galbraith; her grandchildren, Alec, Courtney, Jessica, Justin, Jacob, Sienna, Kingston, and Ceasar; and eight great-grandchildren.

Lisa was very close to her late Aunt Rachael Dayton and loved and feared her dearly. She was close to her late cousin Valarie (Dayton) Grogan, and living family Becky (Dayton) Donnellan and Tim and Diane Dayton and all of her cousins. Lisa had many friends who loved her. Two very special friends, one friend for each shoulder, Susan Biddle and Paula Dorsey. She developed relationships with friends at Westernport Elementary School, friends from "Westmar High School color guard", "Sue's" shopping adventures with her friends she loved dearly...(you know who you are), and we can't forget her Bruce High School graduating Class of 1970.

Lisa was a huge Redskins fan and was employed at the Chevy Chase Lounge while residing in in D.C., after returning to her hometown she worked at Moran's Lounge and then the Stray Cat Cafe' for several years, and that is where family and friends are invited to gather, at the North Branch Pub on Friday, March 20th from 12-3 to celebrate Lisa's life.
