Linda Griffin

Linda Griffin, 78, of Westernport passed away on January 20, 2024 at Peace Healthcare at Dennett Road Manor.

Born May 29, 1945 at Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late John and Edna (Cline) Michaels. She is also preceded in death by her son, Brian Griffin; and nine of her siblings. 

Linda was not fond of the cold winter weather; she enjoyed the years that she and her husband spent in Georgia. In 2013 she and her husband John moved back to the mountains of Maryland.

Linda was a wonderful wife and mom. She loved the holidays and the Christmas season was her favorite time of year. Linda loved kids and her whole world revolved around her family. 

Linda is survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years, John Griffin; and her sons, John Griffin and wife Teresa, and Mark Griffin and significant other, Amber Paugh. Linda is also survived by her twin sister, Sandra Kisner; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Saturday, January 27th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Swanton.
