Kimberly Sue Kyle, 51, of Carrollton, VA, formerly of New Creek, WV, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, after a long, extended and courageous battle with Pancreatitis.

Born February 18, 1965 at Fort Meade, MD, she was the daughter of the late Paul O’Neil Jr. and Joyce Elaine (Raines) O’Neil. She was also preceded in death by a nephew, Jeremy Robertson, and a sister-in-law, Tammy (Kyle) Shockey.

Kim was a loving mother, devoted military spouse, best friend and homemaker.  Her home was kept immaculate at all times and she was an avid landscaper. Her animals were her world, as she raised Yorkshire Terriers and Schnauzers.

She leaves behind her husband R. William Kyle Jr., a son, Derek William Kyle and wife Nicole of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, a daughter, Laura Elizabeth Carlomany and husband Josh of Cumberland, MD, three grandchildren, Madelyn Grace Kyle, Tyhler Scott Amick, and Kinslei Fayth Carlomany.  She is also survived by two sisters, Lisa Kay Green and husband Robert of Westernport, MD, Donna Shaffer and husband Michael of Prince George, VA, a brother, James P. O’Neil of Westernport, MD and a sister-in-law, Melody O’Neil of Fort Ashby, WV.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, on Sunday, November 6th from 5 to 9 PM.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, November 7th at 1:00 PM, with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.

Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kim’s name may be directed to the Pancreatitis Center of Johns Hopkins Hospital, 1800 Orleans St, Baltimore, MD 21287
