Kermit Perkins

Kermit Ray Perkins, 66, of Westernport, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023, after a very long battle with Lewy Body Dementia. 

Kermit was born September 10, 1956, in Summersville, WV.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Perkins, Jr. and Ernestine (McClung) Perkins Ragland.  

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Dan Becker of Charlottesville, VA, and a brother, Phil Perkins.

Kermit was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved his motorcycles, and his dog, Pester.  He was a 1974 graduate of Bruce High School.

Special thanks to the staff at Moran Manor for taking such good care of Kermit the last several months.

Family and friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Friday, April 14th from 1 to 3 p.m.

Kermit's final resting place will be at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, VA, near his mother.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Allegany County Animal Shelter in Kermit's name.
