The angels have taken her way too soon. She had so much love to give, but she is in a much better place, no more pain or suffering. She will never be alone again which was her greatest fear. She is with her grandparents, family members and many close friends waiting with wings opened wide to welcome her home.

She lived in Lonaconing, MD for most of her life and later moved to Southern MD about nine years ago where she met her fiancé Jeremy Hobbs, the love of her life.

She is survived by her mother and best friend, Connie McKinley McGreevy Gentry, her stepfather, Robert Mark Gentry Sr, two stepsisters Kristi Gentry Miller and Kellie Gentry and one stepbrother, Robert Mark Gentry Jr. and nine nieces and nephews.
Also her father, Patrick Kenny McGreevy and wife, Lynne, and half brother and sister, Ryan and Lyndsey McGreevy. Step grandmothers and very special ladies (Nana) Bessie Kelley Gentry and Ruth Moore Gentry, God Mother Joy Kenny Miller Hierschmugel and special friend Joann Kyle Matthews Fleischell. Numerous aunts and uncles and cousins too many to mention.
There were three other special ladies in Katrina's life Michelle McRae, Jackie Hobbs and Delores Moore who cared for her very much, as well as a couple of childhood friends that meant the world to her, Todd McKenzie, Ashley Robertson, Sara Steele, Bobbi Jo “Flo” Guinn and Ashley Matthews whom have helped us greatly get through this. There are many others, some of which we have not had the pleasure to meet.

She was preceded in death by many family members and close friends, two of which that were very close to Katrina's heart, Mitchell Gentry and Jamie Gentry.

She had a hard battle to fight and fight she did right up to the very end. She was and still is a True Crick Rat here and now in Heaven.

Services will be held at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, MD on Saturday, April 5th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Immediately following the service her ashes will be taken to Savage River at the bridge the bottom of 3 mile mountain where she requested to be placed.
Returning to the American Legion in Barton for a gathering for family and friends.
Fly High Baby Girl Fly High. I will love you always you and me forever and a day, your BFF, Mom.
