Kathryn Harvey

Kathryn Harvey, 77, of Bloomington passed away on April 6, 2018 after a battle with cancer at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Born October 21, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William and Lena Broadwater. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. Harvey in 2012.

Kathryn was a 1959 graduate of Bruce High School. Kathryn was a member of the Piedmont Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder, church school teacher and also a member of the Presbyterian Women. She was a member of the Bloomington Ladies Auxiliary. Kathryn was also involved in numerous volunteer activities.

She is survived by her children, Bill Harvey and wife, Liza of Virginia, and her daughter Glynna Harbaugh and husband, Shawn of Bloomington. Kathryn is survived by her five grandchildren, Brent Harbaugh and wife, Kari, Brittany Chojar, Jason Harvey and wife, Mae, Daniel Harvey, Kathryn G. Harvey; and her four great grandchildren, who gave her many laughs, Kahlan, Kiya, Emma and Ian.

Family and friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Friday, April 13th from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 14th at 1:00 pm.

A private interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery, Grantsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Piedmont Presbyterian Church.
