Julia Anne Price, 96, of Maryland Ave, Westernport, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing.
Born January 19, 1919 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Adolph Waitekunas and Alice (Martecauskis) Waitekunas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Price, and her siblings, Anna Waitekunas, Anastasia Ranker, Adolph Waitekunas, and Adele Shires.
Julia was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Westernport. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She opened up her home to all friends who became her family.
She leaves behind her son, Harry Price of Westernport, a granddaughter, Jessica L. Wines and husband Travis of St. Albans, WV, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday, August 5th from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peters Catholic Church on Thursday, August 6th at 10:00 AM, with Monsignor Paul Byrnes as celebrant.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
