Joseph Earl Guinn Sr., 66, of East Mechanic St, Frostburg, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at his residence.
Born August 24, 1947 in Garrett County, he was the son of the late Joseph Edward and Eva Mae (Dye) Guinn. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Junior Guinn.
Joe was a retired surveyor, having worked for J.K. Timmons and Associates. He was a member of New Life Frostburg.
He leaves behind a son, Joseph Earl Guinn Jr and wife Becky of Lafayette, LA, two brothers, Roy Guinn of Florida and Roger Guinn of Westernport, two sisters, Evelyn Sturgill of Frostburg and Ginger Cozino of Centerville, PA, six grandchildren, J.T., Emily, Nathan, Taylor, Hannah and Morgan. He is also survived by his longtime companion, Bonnie Baker, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Butch Wright officiating.
Interment will be in Bloomington Cemetery, Bloomington.
