James Raymond “Jim” Moorehead, 86, of Bloomington passed away on December 16, 2020 at his residence.
Born June 20, 1934 he was the son of the late Evelyn (Moorehead) Hinkle. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents who helped raise him, Roy and Beliva (Morgan) Moorehead, his step father, Grover Hinkle, brothers, John Hinkle and Roy Hinkle, sisters, Thelma Hinkle and Ann Watson, and his Father and Step Mother.
Jim worked and retired from Penn Ventilator. Jim enjoyed hunting for ginseng and watching television. He had a lot of friends and he never met a stranger. Jim was a happy-go-lucky person, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his wife of 68 years, Frances (Smith) Moorehead, of Bloomington; his son, Terry Moorehead and wife, Brenda of Rawlings; his sister Gladys Moon and companion Mike Ward of Middle River; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be a private burial at Dawson Cemetery, Rawlings with Pastor Donna Leatherman officaiting.
Boal Funeral Home, Westernport has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Moorehead.
