James Wade "Bobo" Walker

James Wade “Bobo” Walker, 76 of Westernport passed away on May 17, 2026.

Born August 30, 1949, he was the son of the late James and Dorothy (Condron) Walker. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Buracker; nephews, James North and Donald Walker; niece, Jennifer Walker; and a step-son, Todd Tasker.

Bobo attended Bruce High School, Westernport. He was a proud United States Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Piedmont American Legion Post #52, Piedmont, WV and the Redman Black Hawk Tribe #131, Westernport. Bobo enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time fishing and hunting. One of his favorite pastimes was hunting for ginseng. Bobo liked drinking his beer and watching his grass grow. Above all else, Bobo was a loving family man, his whole world revolved around his children and grandchildren.

Bobo is survived by his sister Darla Steele and husband William of Union Bridge; brother, Donald “Ernie” Walker of Westernport; his children, James Walker II and fiancé Tonya Barnett, Erin Moyer and husband Rob, Tereka Tasker and partner James Shank, Jr., and Toby Tasker and wife Sondra. Bobo is survived by his grandchildren, Brandon Uphold and partner Sarah Glotfelty, Macey Rozell and husband Ryanh, Jessica Moyer, Clarissa Lloyd and partner Jost Wotring, Lashly Murphy and husband James, Makayla Lloyd and partner Jake Corbin, Shawn Lloyd and partner Peyton Dawson, Keirra Tasker and Karley Tasker, Adrianna Herman, and Savannah Davis. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Raelyn Clever, Stormi Moyer, Salem Moyer, Saint Moyer, Mylah Helbig, Bravery Murphy, Rowan Wotring, Sieanna Corbin, and Jadilynn Hebb; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Tuesday, May 26th from 1 to 3 p.m.

A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m.

Military honors will take place at the funeral home.
