James Taylor

James R. Taylor, 49, of Westernport, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Western Maryland Health System.

Born on April 21, 1969 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of James and Dorothy Taylor of Westernport.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mike and Mable Cowatch and Georgia and Henry Taylor.

In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his wife, Renee and daughters, Brianna and Alyssa Taylor, his sisters, Annette Clark and husband Joe and children Sandi and Chris, and Jeannie Cady and children Mandy and Randy, his mother-in-law, Susan Fairgrieve, his sister-in-laws, Michelle, Kim, Paula and their children, and several great nieces and nephews.

Jimmy loved to camp and fish.  He will always be remembered for the kindness and care that he provided to patients during the time he worked as a nursing assistant.  He was also employed by the Town of Westernport as a licensed water plant operator.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday, September 3rd from 2 to 6 PM.  A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation on Monday at 6:00 PM, with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.
