James Dennis Hartman

James Dennis Hartman Jr, of Westernport, MD passed away July 25th, 2024, at UPMC Cumberland, surrounded by his children and loved ones.

Jimmy was born on January 25th, 1960, in Keyser, WV to the late Anna Rita (Dawson) Hartman and James D. Hartman Sr.

Mr. Hartman was preceded in death by his wife, Kimbra L. (Tell) Hartman; brother, Robert G. Hartman; sisters, Sue Miller (Dale), and Rita (Hartman) Whetzel; and infant daughter, Jamie D. Hartman.

Jimmy is survived by his children, daughter Hannah (Stephen) Hartman Wotring, son Brandon J. Hartman, and a “special daughter” Kaylyn Trenter of Frostburg. He is also survived by his sister, Kay Barone and husband Russ of Buffalo, NY.; granddaughter, Arianna Kimbrlee Brana' Hartman; nieces, Lindsay Barone, Ashley Miller, April (John) Braithwaite, Melissa (Grandon) Clark, Trista Riggleman, Shanna Rae Riggleman; and nephews, Shawn Wise, Jason Whetzel and Shannon Riggleman.

The family will receive friends at the American Legion, located in Piedmont, WV on August 3rd, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for a Celebration of Life for Jimmy.

Jimmy was beloved by all! He was known for being the life of the party and for having the biggest heart!
