Isabel Claudine (Warnick) Beard, 85, formerly of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Dennett Road Manor in Oakland, MD.
Born March 12, 1930, in Moscow Mills, MD., Claudine was the daughter of the late James Warnick and Isabelle (Turnbull) Warnick. She was also preceded in death by her husband Russell Beard; four sisters: Christine Kirtley, Mary Beeman, Hilda Stafford, Elizabeth Hollar, and five brothers: Harrison Warnick, James Warnick, Robert Warnick and Eugene Warnick. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Claudine was a 1948 graduate of Barton High School. She retired from Westvaco after 34 years of service. She was a 50 year member of the Bethlehem Chapter #14 Order of Eastern Star.
Claudine is survived by one son, Richard Beard and wife Carol of Accident, MD; two step-daughters, Debra Wilson and Gayle Moody; two grandsons, Kyle Beard and Cory Beard; and two step grandchildren, Alisha Wilkes and Sarah Wolfe.
Friends will be received at Boal Funeral Home, P.A. Westernport on Saturday, June 27 from 12 PM to 1 PM. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM.
Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home Activity Fund.
