Ida Delores Hamilton

 Westernport, MD

Ida Delores (Wilt) Hamilton, 84 of Westernport passed away on January 24, 2024 at her residence with her family by her side. 

Born May 19, 1939, she was the daughter of the late William Zedick and Lora Alice (Broadwater) Wilt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Hamilton; sons, William Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton; and her siblings, Loretta, Lois, Wilbur, Kenny, Robert and Betty. 

Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her children, Richard Hamilton (Linda), David Hamilton (Donna), James “Boo” Hamilton (Diana), Delores “Jeannie” Cogan (John); 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Shirley Baker, Gary Wilt, Ronald Wilt, Marshall Wilt, Patricia Shillingburg and Phyllis Buskirk; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Sunday, January 28^th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will take place at the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 29^th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Glen Johnson, Jr officiating. 

Interment will be at the Bloomington Cemetery.
