Helen Baker

Helen Lee Baker, 67, of Keyser, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD.

Born July 5, 1947 in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Wendell and Jean Elaine (Saville) Warnick.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Ann Miller.

Helen was a 1965 graduate of Piedmont High School.  She was a homemaker.  She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Westernport, MD, in which she loved.

She leaves behind her husband of 48 years, Paul Baker, two sons, Paul “Rusty” Baker II and wife Ruthie of Keyser, James Baker and wife Regina of Piedmont, a daughter, Ashley Lough and husband Clif of Frostburg, MD, four brothers, Paul Warnick and wife Della of Keyser, Philip Warnick and wife Peggy of New Creek, Michael Warnick of Westernport, MD, Todd Warnick and wife Felicia of Piedmont, two sisters, Frances Bean and husband Paul of Keyser, and Melissa Murphy and husband Eddie of Virginia Beach, VA.  She is also survived by six grandchildren, Brittany Miller, Justin Miller, Brylee Lough, Lyanna Baker, Isabella Baker, and Charlee Ricks, and several nieces and nephews.  Helen dearly loved all of her family.

Friends and family will be received at the First Baptist Church, Spring St, Keyser, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the First Baptist Church, Keyser, on Tuesday at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Earl Williams and Rev. Jody Bean officiating.

Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
