Evelyn Louise Pattison, 83, of Donna St, Westernport, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at Frostburg Village Nursing Home, where she had been a resident.
Born November 8, 1931 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Opal (Parker) Laupert. She was also preceded in death by two sons, John James Pattison and John Joseph Pattison and a granddaughter, Wendy.
Evelyn was formerly employed at Moran Manor Nursing Center as a nurses’ aide. Prior to that she had worked at the Frostburg Sewing Factory. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints, and a member of Martha Washington Chapter #10 Order of Eastern Star.
She leaves behind her husband, John Pattison, two daughters, Carol Machin (Gary) of Rawlings, Patty McVicker (Bob) of Barton, two sons, Robert Charles Pattison (Becky) of Yuma, AZ, and Ned Pattison (Penny) of Warsaw, VA. She is also survived by a brother, Victor Laupert (Liz) of Tennessee, fourteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
