Ellen Virginia Moyer, known to friends as "Ginny," and family as Gee, Aunt Gee or Granny Gee, went to be with Jesus on November 27, 2018, at the age of 91 years.

Born April 16, 1927, she was the first of eight children of Seymour S. "Boss" Nealis and Mary Elizabeth (Newlin) Nealis.  A native of Westernport, Maryland, Virginia graduated from Bruce High School in 1945 and worked at Westvaco as a secretary until the birth of her son, Rob.  From then on she was a stay at home mom working various jobs at the flower shop and the Style Shop in Piedmont.

Virginia was a member of the Westernport United Methodist Church for her entire life.

In 1988, she relocated with her son and his family to Dale City, Virginia.  Virginia became associated with Good Shepherd United Methodist Church where she made many friends who visited her often.

She was preceded in death in 1974 by her husband of 26 years, Robert Arnold Moyer Sr; two brothers, Seymour "Sonny" Nealis and wife, Jean of Goodyear, AZ and Paul Richard "Ricky" Nealis of Swanton; and one sister, Betty Pratt of Westernport.  She is survived by her son, Robert A. Moyer Jr and his wife Sherri of Dale City, VA; grandson, Zachary and his partner, Maddie of Charlotte, NC and grandaughter, Sophie and her partner, Brian of Dale City; and soon-to-be great granddaughter, Sinai.

She is also survived by two brothers, Harold Nealis of Swanton and Robert "Bobby" Nealis and wife Louise also of Swanton; two sisters, Barbara Fisher of Westernport and Janet Junkins and her husband, Frank of Keyser; brother-in-law, William "Wig" Pratt of Westernport and sister-in-law, Josephine Nealis of Cumberland.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews whom she loved very much.

At her request, Virginia was cremated.  A memorial service will be scheduled in the Spring of 2019 at Boal Funeral Home in Westernport.
