Edward Richard Fazenbaker Jr., 54 of Martinsburg, formerly of Piedmont, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013 in Martinsburg.
Born January 11, 1959 in Keyser, he was the son of Edward Richard “Dick” Fazenbaker Sr. and Wilda (Biggs) Fazenbaker of Piedmont.
Mr. Fazenbaker was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kemp and Leota Fazenbaker and Robert and Edna Biggs.
Richard was 1977 graduate of Keyser High School, along with being a 1979 graduate of Potomac State College and 1981 graduate of West Virginia University, majoring in Journalism. He was employed at Morgan Awards, Martinsburg. His passion was photography as he was also employed at First Look Photo in Martinsburg and Hagerstown, MD. He enjoyed fishing, hiking and was an avid Nascar fan.
In addition to his parents, “Dick” and Wilda, he leaves behind a sister, Betty Jo Fazenbaker and companion Paul Johnston, his aunts and uncles, Dorothy Barnard and family, Robert and Joy Biggs and family, Jane Biggs and family, and Margaret “Sissy” Folk and family. He is also survived by special friends Rick and Stacie Rohn and their daughter, Becca, and Bobbi and Dick Rohn and his other friends and co-workers from the Martinsburg area.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, 111 Church St, Westernport, MD, on Thursday, April 18th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 19th at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Bart Thompson officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport, MD.
