Edith Grace Lease, 73 of Lonaconing passed away on February 14, 2017.

Born September 8, 1943 in Vindex, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Edward Jacob Ross and Fannie Gladys (Puffenbarger) Ross. She is also preceded in death by her husband, George Paul Lease; a son, David Ross; and her siblings, Arnold Ross, Frank Ross, Kenny Ross, Ted Ross, Robert Ross, Charrlotte Ross, Peggy Ross and Mary Jane Wahl.

Edith was a member of the Gospel Life Baptist Church in Keyser, WV. She loved baby dolls and she had a very large collection of them. Edith loved her family very much.

She is survived by her siblings, Edward Ross Jr. and wife, Eva of PA, Bill Ross and wife, Sharon of Keyser, WV, Charles Ross and wife, Sharon of Barton, Samuel Ross and wife, Elsa of VA, Helen Eisenhower of OH, and Linda Shillingburg and husband, Bill of Keyser. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Heather Jones and husband, Travis of Westernport, David Ross Jr. and wife, Nicole of Westernport, Todd Ross and wife, Susie of Wiley Ford, WV; two great grandchildren, Jonathan Hall and Janice Pettie; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Ross of Westernport. Edith is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton on Friday, February 17th from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will take place after the visitation at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mike Wyatt officiating.

Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.

Edith’s family is very grateful to WMHS Dialysis Unit and the Golden Living Center for taking care of her.
