Dorothy Lee Wilcox, 95, of Maryland Highway, Swanton, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 at her residence.

Born May 21, 1923 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Burrell Frederick and Edith L. (Durst) Poland.  She was also preceded in death by her husband 33 years ago to the day, Dewey James Wilcox, and a daughter, Judy Ann Fulk.

Dorothy was a homemaker.  She was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Piedmont, WV, and an honorary member of North Glade Homemakers.

She leaves behind a son, Thomas Wilcox and wife Ann of Westernport, four daughters, Louella Friend and husband Ed of Swanton, Joyce Paugh and husband Jim of Swanton, Jeanne Cavey and husband Rob of Bloomington, and Janie Lyn Paugh of Elk Garden, WV.  She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, Tommy
Fulk and wife Elizabeth, Michael Fulk and wife Stacey, Scott Wilcox, Rodney Frazee and wife Mary, Leann Wilcox and partner James, Eddie Friend and wife Danielle, Jody Friend and wife Aliza, Jim Paugh and wife Jennifer, Travis Wilcox and wife Leslie, Alisha Bowman and partner Brian, Trisha Alt and husband Kevin, Jennifer Paugh and partner C.J. and Joy Paugh and partner Justin, nineteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday, November 26th from 5 to 8 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 27th at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Mary Beth Chein and Don Stephens officiating.

Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
