Doris Elaine Carder, 73, of RR 6, Keyser, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born July 12, 1940 in Piedmont, she was the daughter of the late Una Post.
Doris taught ceramics and was the former owner of Doris’s Ceramics in Oakland, MD in her earlier years. She eventually retired from CVS Pharmacy, Keyser, as a Pharmacy Technician.
She leaves behind her husband of 28 years, Calvin Edward Carder, a daughter, Lisa Ann Chalfant of Mississippi, a son, Jeffrey M. Bennett of Austin, TX, a step son, Mark E. Carder of Fort Ashby, and two grandchildren, Emma Elaine Bennett and Jeffrey M. Bennett, both of Austin, TX.
At Doris’s request, her body was cremated.
There will be no visitation or funeral services.
Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, is in charge of arrangements.
