Delores Kight

Delores Jean Kight, 76, of Marsh Avenue, Westernport went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving husband, children, grandchildren and family.

Born October 17, 1941 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late McClellan and Mary M. Riggleman.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William Kight Sr.; her children, Debbie Marple and husband Tim of Piedmont, WV, Judy Hamilton and husband Tom, William Kight Jr. and wife Schelotta, Kimberly Bowers and husband Jeff and Crissy Fazenbaker and husband Phil, all of Westernport. She was a loving grandmother leaving behind her grandchildren, Ashley Snyder, Shanna Bennett, Cory Marple, J.J. McGoye, Britni Weiss, Kayla Bowers, Shane Fazenbaker, Shaylene Bowers, Sami Jo Kight, Sarah Fazenbaker, Michelle Kight, Madi Bowers and Tyler Hamilton. Delores is survived by her siblings, Mary Clark and husband Ray, Carolyn Fitzgerald and husband Norman, Dorothy Sines and husband Donald, Betty Wilt and husband Jerry, Robert Riggleman and wife Candy and Bernard Riggleman and wife Mary Pat. She is survived by her great grandchildren, Allison Snyder, Emily Gallagher, Kendyll Marple, Kenzie Weiss, Kylee Miller; and her special beloved dog, Sassy.

Delores spent her life devoting all of her time to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Delores had a close relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 30th at 1:00 pm with Rev. Thomas Brackett officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the WMHS Home Hospice for their outstanding care and compassion during their mother’s illness.
