Delores Arnold

Delores Henrietta Arnold, 72, of Heartland of Keyser, formerly of Westernport, MD, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.

Born December 23, 1942 in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn (Barricks) Linkswiler.  She was also preceded in death by a brother Edward Allen Barricks.

Delores was a homemaker and was Methodist by faith.  She was a former volunteer and CRT for Tri-Towns Rescue Squad.  She also loved all animals.

She leaves behind a son, Ronald Arnold Jr and wife Pam of Westernport, MD, a daughter, Robin Harris and husband Donnie of Burlington, a brother, Edward Linkswiler of West Virginia, four grandchildren, Donnie Harris Jr and fiancé Heather, Kirstin Mellott and husband Jordan, Brandon Harris and fiancé Krissy, and Casey Arnold.  She is also survived by a great grandson, Zander Mellott and soon to arrive great grandson, Crosby Harris, and a close friend, Frances Aronhalt.

At Delores’s request, she was cremated.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD on Thursday, April 9th from 6 to 9 PM.  A memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Friday, April 10th at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Andrew Agnew and Rev. Denzel Davis officiating.  Friends will be received one hour prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Mineral County Humane Society or the Allegany County Humane Society.
