Debra Ack

Debra Lynn Ack, 55, of Keyser, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD.

Born December 27, 1957 in Keyser, she was the daughter of Leafy Ann (Hammons) Haggerty of Keyser, and the late Dan Metcalf.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of David H. Ack.

Debra was a 1976 graduate of Bruce High School.  She was a pharmacy technician for 37 years.

In addition to her mother, Leafy Ann Haggerty of Keyser, she leaves behind one brother, Phil Metcalf and wife Alysa of Keyser, three sisters, Roxanne Metcalf of Keyser, Sandy DuPont and husband Brian of Falling Waters, and Donna Smith and fiancé Chris Chiaverini of Piedmont.  She is also survived by her nephews, Aaron DuPont of Martinsburg, Derek DuPont of Falling Waters, and Tyler Metcalf of Keyser, and nieces, Stacey Newcome and husband Cameron of Morgantown, Nichole Chiaverini and husband Kyle of Chambersburg, PA, and Natosha Foote and husband David of Hedgesville; her best friend, Bridgette Hess, and her two “boys”, her pets, Noel and Brandi.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD on Friday from 10 to 11 AM. There will be no funeral service or graveside service.

Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
