David Mackey Cameron, 78 of Westernport passed away on April 30, 2014 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born January 14, 1936, he was the son of the late James Albert Cameron and Eleanor Louise (Phillips) Cameron. He is also preceded in death by a brother James Melvin Cameron and a sister Betty Anne Llewellyn.
Dave was retired from Westvaco where he was a machine operator and a lubricator. He was an active member and Deacon at Christ Memorial Baptist Church. Dave was a loving husband, father and grandfather, he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Elizabeth (Miller) Cameron of Westernport; a son, David Rickey Cameron of Westernport; daughters, Tamala Joan Schramm and husband of Winchester, VA and Joy Kay Michael and Rex of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Amanda Wagoner and Nathan, Ashley Saville and Donald, Josh Cameron and Cait, Daniel Schramm, Brittany Schramm, Heather Michael and Briann Michael. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Emma Wagoner, Scarlet Cameron, Mathew Wagoner, Elizabeth Wagoner, Aaron Cameron, Khloe Saville, Maddox Cameron and Olivia Schramm.
Family and friends will be received at Christ Memorial Baptist Church, Roosevelt Street, Westernport on Saturday from 2 to 3 pm. A funeral service will be conducted after the visitation at 3:00 pm with Rev. Rick High officiating.
