Clyde B. “Jack” Combs of Rawlings passed away on Monday, October 25th at UPMC Western Maryland.
Born May 20, 1935 in Luke, he was the son of the late Calvin and Delsie (Veach) Combs. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his only brother, Norman V. Combs.
He served in the U.S. Army in Korea in 1955. He was a member of the Danville Community Baptist Church and had many friends there.
He worked at Westvaco in Luke for 44 years. In his younger days, he loved working in his garden. Many of his friends enjoyed his tomatoes over the years.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Alma.
Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Friday, October 29th from 12 to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Talton officiating.
Interment will be at Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV.
