Charles Robert "Bob" Moore

Charles Robert “Bob” Moore, 71, of Rawlings passed away at home on August 18, 2024 with his loving family at his side. 

Born March 27, 1953, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Ellen “Betty” (Matthews) Moore. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Moore; grandson, Mark Bean; and his good friend, Glenn Shingler.

Bob is survived by his wife, Shirley (Fitzgerald) Moore; his children, Robert “Rob” Moore of PA, Denise Amoruso and husband Joe of Westernport, Eric Lannon of Moorefield, WV and Michelle Lannon of Westernport. Bob is survived by his sister; Peg Pomeroy and husband Ron of Orlando, FL; his good friends, Roger Moffatt, Tom Hedley, and Eric and Colton Shingler; his grandchildren, Tai, Destiny, Kiri, Jordan, Kori, and Marrissa; great grandchildren, Wade, Ashton and Maci; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. 

Bob had a passion for all things automotive. He loved antique cars and attending car shows were a cherished pastime. He was a figure in the car community and was a member of the National Hot Rod Association. 

Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.  

Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Barton.
