Charlene White

Charlene Abbie White, 64, of Frostburg, MD went home to be with the Lord on February 28th, 2021.

Born May 10th, 1956 in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, she is the daughter of Charles Sites and the late Harriet Anglin.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Reed and grandson Ethan James.

Abbie was a 1975 graduate of Fort Hill High School. She enjoyed spending time with family, her grandchildren, friends, shopping, crocheting, art, bingo, going on trips, or just a simple car ride. Abbie was a collector of all things Owl.

She leaves behind her children, Tammy Emerick and husband Ben of Hyndman, PA; Bill Shuck and wife Maggie of Hagerstown, MD; and Justin White and wife Brittany of Westernport, MD; Gina Long of Cumberland, MD.  She is also survived by her father, Charles Sites and wife Sally of Frostburg, MD; two Sisters, Joni Fretwell and husband Steve of Plattsburgh, NY and Lena Joy and husband Randy of Williamsport, MD; nine grandchildren, Trevor, Damion, Joel, Haley, Egan, Caleb, Caden, Camron and Che; and two great-grandsons, Jordan and Carter.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Abbie’s special friends Joyce and Donna and her caregiver Theresa.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Boal Funeral Home, Westernport from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will be at Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Boal Funeral Home.
