Cerobia “Mary Lou” Metz, 79, of Cerobia Lane, Rawlings, passed away in Baltimore while residing at the time with her family.

Born March 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Harry Skidmore and Pauline (Bosley) Skidmore Beavers.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Metz, a son Donald E. Metz Jr., and a granddaughter, Dawn M. Metz.

She leaves behind her daughter, Susan J. Lhotsky, a son, Brian K. Metz, three grandchildren, Jason M. Metz, Jennifer M. Black, Whitney S. Lhotsky, and five great grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle and Luke Metz, Cayden and Payton Black.  She is also survived by five brothers, Edward Skidmore, Harold, Porter, Douglas and Ricky Joe Beavers, and two sisters, Marlene Porter and Carol Darling.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday, May 13th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, May 14th at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Samuel Biser officiating.

Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
