Carolyn Sue Miller 66, went home to be with the lord and the love of her life Dale on Monday March 21, 2016 at the Winchester Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. Born on February 23, 1950 she was the daughter of the late James “Butsy” and Anna Rita (Dawson) Hartman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dale Miller, father-in-law Alfred C. Miller, Mother-in-law Ruth E. Miller, brother, Robert Hartman, sister, Rita Whetzel, a granddaughter Casey Brashear, and two grandsons A.J. Reed and Nicholas Braithwaite. Carolyn was loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a homemaker, she loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She liked to play bingo, she loved life and those around her. She was a member of the Victory Post 155 American Legion, Westernport. Carolyn is survived by her three children, Missy Clark and husband Grandon, Ashley Miller and boyfriend Scott Clawson, and April Braithwaite. She is also survived by her sister Kay Barone and husband Russ and brother Jimmy Hartman, eight grandchildren, T.C. Brashear, Jodi Brashear and fiancé Bobby Goss, Cody Brashear and fiancé Kaitlyn Bothwell, Brayden Reed, Maddixx Reed, Shania Braithwaite, Kayla Braithwaite, Nathan Braithwaite, two great grandsons Landen Brashear and Mason Brashear. Carolyn is also survived by three sisters-in-laws Gloria Walker and husband Harry, Ruby Keller and husband Jimmy Keller, and Marg Smith and husband Bud and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two very special family members Andrew Reed and June Clark. Carolyn is loved and will be missed by her family, friends, all of those who knew her. Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Friday, March 25th from 3 PM to 7 PM.  A funeral service will follow the visitation on Friday, March 25th at 7:00 PM, with Rev. Gary Morris officiating.  Interment will be at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Rocky Gap, at a later date.
