Carol Bradley

Carol Jean Bradley, 65, of 5th St, Westernport, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born April 28, 1949 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Mervel T. and Ethel F. Clark.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet Faye Clark and a brother, Ray Clark.

Carol was a 1967 graduate of Bruce High School.  She was a hair stylist having been the owner-operator of the former Capri Hair Salon, Westernport.  In the last few years she also worked at the Keyser Dairy Queen.  Carol was a member of Westernport United Methodist Church, and a lifetime member of the Westernport Elementary School PTA.

She leaves behind her husband, Dave Bradley, two sons, Shawn Bradley of Westernport, Brian Bradley and wife Krystal of Cresaptown, a brother-in-law, Francis Bradley and wife Kim of Richmond, VA, and a special niece and nephew, Laura Peal and Ryan Bradley and several great nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her close special friends, Paula James, Martha McConnell, Becky Moorehead, Donna Burns and Janie Cole.

At Carol’s request, her body was cremated.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Wednesday, March 25th from 5 to 8 PM. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 8:00 PM, with Pastor Sandy Cowan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Lung Association or the Warm the Children Fund.
