Betty June Johnson, 85, of Hartmansville, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD
Born May 25, 1931 in Westernport, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Verta E. (Entler) Linkswiler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Greenwell Parker Johnson and a brother, Charles Gilbert Linkswiler.
Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker.
She leaves behind two sons, Dale Parker Johnson and wife Brenda of Hartmansville, Mark Ian Johnson of Hartmansville, two daughters, Janet Lee Kesner and husband Charles of Fort Ashby, Sara Lynn Linn and husband Troy of Midland, MD, and a brother, Ronald Linkswiler and wife Joan of Salisbury, MD. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.
At Betty’s request, she was cremated.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Westernport United Methodist Church, Vine St, Westernport, MD, on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Sandy Cowan officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the church one hour prior to service from 10 AM to 11 AM.
