Betty Jean Evans, 56, of Sutherland Lane, Barton, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at her residence.
Born March 12, 1960 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of Shelva Jean (Symons) Evans of Barton, and the late Robert Lee Evans Sr. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arlie and Faye Evans, maternal grandparents, James and Sarah Symons, her uncle, Roger W. Evans, and her aunt, Nellie Martines “Sissy”.
In addition to her loving mom and caregiver, Shelva Jean, she leaves behind, a brother, Robert Lee “Pooh Bear” Evans Jr. of Barton, a sister, Bonnie L. Centofonti and husband Pete of Romney, WV, a nephew, Robert Lee “Robbie” Evans III and wife Amanda of Barton, her nieces, Ashley Renee Centofonti and boyfriend, James Dawson of Keyser, WV, Shawni Marie Evans and boyfriend, Tanner Peeling of St. Mary’s, MD, two great nieces, Trinity Faith and Adelynn Rose Evans of Barton and her uncle Wayne W. Evans of Fort Worth, TX.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Wednesday, December 7th from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the Boal Chapel on Thursday, December 8th at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Otis Lancaster officiating.
Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
