Barbara Ann Newlon. 64, of Keyser, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Allegany Health Nursing and Rehab, Cumberland, MD.
Born March 13, 1948 in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Carson and Anna Louise (Cummings) Newlon. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Barbara was a 1966 graduate of Bruce High School, Westernport, MD. She was also a 1970 graduate of Frostburg State University. She received a Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 1973 from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, and Masters Degree in Nursing in 1992. She was a registered nurse, having worked for the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. She was Catholic by faith.
As per her wishes, she was cremated.
A graveside memorial service will be conducted at the Philos Cemetery, Westernport, MD, on Thursday, November 15th at 1:00 PM.
