Audrey Hanlin

Audrey Louise Hanlin, 69, for 156 East Hampshire St, Piedmont, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland, MD.

Born October 5, 1943 in Barton, MD, she was the daughter of the late Chester E. and Alice L. (Kohne) Smith.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Thomas Hanlin, a son, Robert William Hanlin, and a sister, Ruth M. Bosley.

Mrs. Hanlin was a former employee of Bausch and Lomb of Oakland, MD.  She was a member of Soul Harbor Church, Cumberland, MD.  Audrey enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, and helping out with her church.

She leaves behind a son, David R. Hanlin and wife Patti of Piedmont, two daughters, Pamela Smith and husband Richard “Pug” of Piedmont, Nicole Hanlin of Piedmont, a daughter-in-law, Tracy Hanlin of Moorefield, two brothers, Raymond Smith and wife Evelyn of Virginia, Arthur Earl Smith and wife Anna of Martinsburg.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cory Smith, D.J. Hanlin and wife Ashley, Patrick William Hanlin, Ryan Thomas Hanlin, Ashley Paugh, Robert Scott Paugh, Gabriel Renae Hanlin, Timothy Allen Hanlin, a great grandson, Brayden Taylor Hanlin, and a special friend, Betty Rankin.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, on Sunday from 12 PM to 4 PM.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home on Sunday at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Barbara Groves officiating.

Graveside services will be private.
