Anna Marie “Nina” Warnick, 97, of Pratt St, Luke, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Egle Nursing and Rehab Center, Lonaconing, where she had been a resident.
Born April 9, 1917 in Piedmont, WV, she was the daughter of the late Pantaleo and Mary (Garafoli) Mazzone. She was also preceded in death by her husband Harold Warnick Sr., a son, John H. Warnick, two brothers, Raphael Mazzone, Anthony Mazzone, and a sister, Isabelle Cangianelli.
“Nina” was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Westernport.
She leaves behind a son, Harold Warnick Jr. of Westernport, two sisters, Mary Wilcox of Cumberland and Julia Codire of Piedmont, WV. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Karie Lewicki and Shelley Warnick, and a very special close friend, Amy Lease and her grandson, Tru.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peters Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Westernport.
