Anna Broadwater

Anna Virginia Broadwater, 79 of Hammond St, Westernport, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Born September 8, 1934 at Cross, WV, she was the daughter of the late John William and Augusta Bertha Moore.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Charles Broadwater, a daughter Karen Ann Broadwater, a sister, Dolly Hester, and three brothers, Virgil, Raymond and Melvin Moore.

Mrs. Broadwater was a homemaker.  She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Westernport.  She loved her Lord and Saviour.

She leaves behind a son, Charles William “Chuckie” Broadwater of Lonaconing, a daughter, Nancy Faye Beavers of Westernport, three sisters, Norma Kerns of Romney, WV, Nettie Woolfrey of Baltimore, and Reatha Dadds of Baltimore.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and sister-in-laws, Donna Moore, Audrey Moore, and brother-in-law, Charles Hester.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Monday from 11 AM to 12 PM.  A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM on Monday, with Pastor Greg Hammond and Pastor Sandy Cowan officiating.

Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
