Alma Arletta Hartman, 91, of Old Legislative Road, Lonaconing, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 at her residence.
Born September 13, 1922 in Garrett County, she was the daughter of the late Howard Stanley and Mary Tillie (Colmer) Warnick. She was also preceded in death by her husband in 1975, Samuel David Hartman, three brothers, Wilson, Robert, and Allen Warnick and a sister, Edna Broadwater.
Mrs. Hartman was a homemaker. She worked several different times at the Celanese Fibers Corp, and various other jobs over the years.
She leaves behind four sons, David Hartman and wife Debbie of Lonaconing, Roy Hartman and wife Audrey of Lonaconing, Samuel Hartman of Lonaconing and Colin Hartman of Lonaconing, two daughters, Rita Henry of Rawlings, and Karen Hamilton and husband Terry of Rawlings. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the Boal Chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Thomas Morgan officiating.
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing.
