Alice Elizabeth “Sis” Hopkins, 83, of Rt. 1, Meadowbrook Drive, Keyser, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her residence.

Born on January 30, 1932 at Bethel, MD, she was the daughter of the late James and Pansy (Maynard) Virts.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Hoppy” Hopkins, a grandson, Jason White, four brothers and one sister.

“Sis” enjoyed crotcheting and playing games on her computer.

She leaves behind two sons, Bob Hopkins Sr. and wife Sue and Steve Hopkins, both of Keyser, three daughters, Kathleen Ravenscroft and husband Roger of Keyser, Anna White and husband Melvin of Westernport, MD, Judy Williamson and fiancée Victor Cook of Keyser, two brothers, Stanton Leon Virts and wife Susie of Baltimore, MD, John Virts and wife Virginia of Keyser, and four sisters, Doris Davis, Arlene Hott and husband Bob, Anna Staggs and Mary Engle, all of Keyser.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Bob Hopkins Jr., Joe Hopkins, Nicole Shaw, Josh Ravenscroft, Erik Ravenscroft, Shane White, Zach Hopkins, Abby Hopkins, and Brandy Williamson, twelve great grandchildren, Ashley, Dustin, Tyler, Dylan, Whitney, Breanne, Colten, Elyissa, Austin, Blake, Christian, and Clarissa, and four great-great grandchildren, Brooke, Kaden, Delaney, and Ryder.  She is also survived by her beloved dog, Milo.

Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD, on Wednesday, May 13th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.  A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Thursday, May 14th at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Samuel Biser officiating.

Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
