Adam Wayne Thomas, 36, of Barton, MD, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Born March 24, 1983 in Cumberland, MD, he is the son of Tracy (Powell) Thomas, Cumberland, and Donald W. Thomas, Barton. He is preceded in death by his uncle, William Kevin Thomas and his Paternal Grandfather, James William “Bill” Thomas.
Surviving is his beautiful daughter and the light of his life, Isabell Lee Peirce. He is also survived by his fiancé, Megan Turner and her two daughters who he thought of as his own, Nautika and MaKenna Turner; his paternal grandmother, Donna Thomas; maternal grandparents, Bill and Anna Lee Powell; his special and much loved aunt, Donna “Missy” Thomas; uncles, Eric Thomas and wife, Winona, Richard Henry, Billy Powell and wife, Susan, Rickie Powell, Scott Powell and Rupert Riley; as well as cousins, Matthew and Evan Thomas, Shanna, Jesse, Lydia and Sadie Powell and Codi (Powell) Sines.
Adam was an avid gamer on his Sony PS4 and always enjoyed fishing and generally being outdoors. He loved and cared for his many cats. His one true joy in life was time spent with his daughter, Isabell, who he loved with all his heart.
The family extends a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Ruby Memorial Hospital for the dedication to their profession and compassionate care given to Adam during his stay.
A viewing will take place at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.
In accordance with his wishes, Adam will be cremated and inurnment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery to be forever with his Pap Thomas.
